Biography
Colin Graham is the Senior Design and Production Officer within the Department of Education at the Institute of Ismaili Studies, working in the in-house design and production unit since January 2011.
He manages the development and stewardship of the Institute’s visual identity across its educational programmes and materials, ensuring that communications align with strategic objectives and strengthen its profile at regional, national, and international levels. He delivers graphic design solutions across print and digital platforms, translating complex ideas into clear and effective visual communications within a multilingual environment supporting ten languages, and oversees the design and production lifecycle to ensure consistency, accuracy, and impact across all outputs.
Colin’s work spans both the public and private sectors, including projects and branding for the COI, Borders UK, local authorities, the CBI, theatres, charities, and educational institutions. He is a member of the British Art Network (BAN) and the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD).
He is responsible for coordinating design and production projects, managing freelance designers, supporting in-house teams, and collaborating closely with colleagues across Education, Marketing, Communications, Editorial, Translations, ITREB, and student teams. He also manages external suppliers, and maintains the Institute’s visual identity systems, templates, and image resources.
