FatimaDaughter of the Prophet Muhammad and his first wife, Khad朝ja bint Khuwaylid. Also wife of 平Al朝 b. Ab朝 畊lib and mother of al-畍asan and al-畍usayn. is responsible for donor stewardship and strengthening relationships with IISs global community of supporters. She leads the development of thoughtful, timely, and strategic engagement with donors and leadership of the Ismaili Community, including tailored communications, curated events, and impact reporting. Her work focuses on connecting donors more deeply with the Institutes academic mission by sharing insights from its research, publications, and programmes to demonstrate the value and relevance of their support.
Fatima recently completed her PhD at , where she examined the paradoxes of institutional legal pluralism and religious diversity in Lebanon, contributing new insights into the intersections of law, religion, and society. She has been a Teaching Fellow at SOAS for the past three years, teaching the module Legal Systems of Asia and Africa. She is also the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Legal Transformation in Muslim Societies. Prior to joining IIS, Fatima led communications and stakeholder engagement for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at .
